Guest Rev. Bob Polk, Sept. 21, 2026 (#260)

Author of FLY IN THE BUTTERMILK, Rev. Bob Polk, Philadelphia, PA, joins us for his 3rd appearance on The 1950s FUN CHAT. He keeps having phenomenal stories to tell!

Bob was the 48th Black person to have lived in North Dakota--this was during the 1950s. As a new arrival to ND, Bob served as a small-town pastor. Later having served in leadership at the Minot, ND, YMCA, Bob truly exemplified the role "builder of bridges" between White and Black and Young and Old.

This story--his story--dwells within the written words of FLY IN THE BUTTERMILK. Bob's video chat now captures his voice and visual charm as he shares his amazing story.
