Guest Priscilla Sage, May 4, 2026 (#240)

Priscilla was born into a Pennsylvania Dutch culture in Allentown, PA, but has called Ames, IA, home for years.

Priscilla chats about the influence of WWII Victory Gardens, the Burpee Seed catalog, and, of course, her PA Dutch heritage as having laid the foundation for her hunger with visual arts.

Priscilla not only taught art in university classes, but her creative mind gave wings to explore, eventually landing on the art of fabric sculpture. Appropriately, her beautiful fabric sculptures went on to capture the attention of museums and art galleries from CA to NY and IA in between where many of her original pieces now hang.
