Clair and Lois Michels' daughter, Mary Ann, opens the floodgate of memories attached to a warm and loving family life beginning in the late 1950s.
The name, Clair Michels, holds a highly respected place of honor in the U.S. beef cattle industry. As executive secretary of the North Dakota Stockmen's Association for over two decades, this gentleman diligently and faithfully worked with government leaders and livestock breeders to bring a massive effort of positive change for the North Dakota rancher and farmer.
Clair lived a robust 105 years, even having had a memory "like a steel trap" until his life ended a few months ago, recalls Mary Ann.
