In the 1950s, the theme song of Marjorie (Marj) Monachino, Burlingame, CA, might have been "Come Fly with Me" when she graduated from stewardess school and donned the uniform of a United Airlines stewardess.
Marj chats with North Dakota's The Pfeiffer Sisters, telling about her initial fascination with female aviator, Amelia Earhart, and then continuing with countless stories of unique passengers and situations which occurred with her job as she criss-crossed the skies of the USA.
Her family's path then led to Des Moines, IA, where Amelia Earhart again "bumped" into Marj's life.
Enjoy this story of a lovely lady with a well-loved career who was envied by many women in the 1950s.
