Judy Goehring Miller, now of Mandan, ND, tells of trauma, excitement, and fond memories of growing up in the Menoken community (home of North Dakota's The Pfeiffer Sisters) in the 1950s.

Judy's maiden name might sound familiar to North Dakotans as her nephew, Doug, serves as the state's Commissioner of Agriculture.
