The Pfeiffer Sisters are delighted to announce via their 1950s Fun Chat broadcast on August 8, 2022, that the North Dakota film company Canticle Productions plans to make While the Windmill Watched its next film!
We've just embarked on the fundraising portion of getting the film made, which is very exciting for us and, we hope, for you as well.
You've been with us for our publishing journey, and now a new chapter starts for us as we embark on the filmmaking journey.

Canticle Productions is dedicated to the telling of powerful stories that honor the people, the land, and the history of North Dakota. True stories of courage, perseverance, and faith have a special place in the mission and identity of Canticle.
Founded in 2018 by Daniel Bielinski, the company has three feature films: A Heart like Water (released 2021), Sanctified (due fall 2022) and Rope (coming spring 2023).
