Culture groups have had an enormous effect on the lives of children of 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants many of whom were born and raised in the 1950s such as Jackie and Janine.

North Dakota's The Pfeiffer Sisters chat about the influence of their Germans From Russia (GFR) heritage through their Grandma Justina Brost Pfeiffer whose parents had sailed the seas on the ship, SS Mosel, in the late 1800s.

Expect to be smiling--and probably even laughing--along with Jackie and Janine--as they tell the rich story of their Germans From Russia "Grandma Pfeiffer," an industrious, tenacious , and talented cook and baker of foods you might recognize even today..

Starting with a brief history of of their Brost Family who immigrated from the Black Sea area of what is now the Ukraine, you might even share an "Ah-Ha" moment in recognizing storied bits and pieces comparative to your GFR legacy.
