What do foil dinners, tying knots, an orange crate, and Thin Mints all have in common?
Virginia (Ginny) Dowling, Ames, IA, is a walking/talking personal archivist of Girl Scouts of America! Ginny's deeply loved membership in that organization began as a Brownie in the mid-20th century and wholeheartedly metamorphosed into actively devoted membership and eventual leadership. You'll learn the story of those fabulous Girl Scout cookies. (Who doesn't have Thin Mints in their library of favorite cookie flavors?) Additionally, she sings the Girl Scout song and recites its pledge as if it was yesteryear.
From head to toe, Ginny's apparent love for Scouting shines like a beacon of light! And what was the story of that orange crate? Watch to learn more.
