It was the imagination of a symphony of sounds that laid the foundation for Stewart Buck's love of trains. Stewart, an Ames, IA, native now calls Ankeny, IA, home.

In the 1950s, Stewart saw passenger travel climb the rails of popularity from automobile to train to airplane. But, even before his two little legs could walk, Stewart was hooked on the locomotive's heart-wrenching sound, the click-clack of the wheels along the tracks, and the screech of the brakes.

Get on board the "Stew" train as he not only shares his passion for the history of trains but also takes us a step further into the world of art. His artistic train scenes are annually commissioned by Leanin' Tree greeting cards. You'll truly be mesmerized by his realistic paintings!
