Eighteen students all learned their ABCs and 1, 2, 3s at Gladstone No. 1, the little country school just a few miles from LaMoure, ND, during the 1950s. One of those students, Ron Olson, Phoenix, AZ, chats with us about that amazing group of students and how they later became well-known scholars and champion athletes. How did that happen?
Along with answering this question, Ron shares about farm life, farming with teams of horses, and oh, yes, the "most important thing in life was the day we got a tractor."
