In the 1950s, your life might have been similar to this week's guest of The Pfeiffer Sisters. At age 14, Bob Bebensee, Atlantic, IA, began his work career at his parents' restaurant. He then tried a variety of jobs outside of his home area but eventually found his way back to work at a men's clothing store in Atlantic. As an active member of the local Jaycees, Bob became acquainted with radio broadcasting and soon learned the keys to helping the newly established small-town radio station, KJAN AM, grow its small listening audience.
